Parent Groups
Principal's Advisory Council
This parent group is run by the high school principal. The purpose of this committee is to provide a vehicle for informal communication between the home and school, identify parental concerns (other than personnel), assist in the delivery of services to the school community and provide input for documentation required by the state. Meetings are held in the Whippany Park Library 2-3 times a year. You will be notified of meeting dates.
To join this committee, either contact the school at 973-887-3004 or email Mary Finlay (mfinlay@hpreg.org) with your name and address.
Whippany Park Booster Club
The WPHS Booster Club supports the many athletic programs at the high school. Through volunteering and fundraising efforts, some of their contributions have included athletic scholarships, a new scoreboard for the gymnasium, tents for the track and cross country teams, championship banners for the gym and a new school marquis. Their major fundraiser is our concession stand at home varsity football games and major track meets.
The Booster Club conducts meetings every 6-8 weeks throughout the school year. They are held in the cafeteria at 7:30 p.m. and all members are invited to attend. The school website will post scheduled meetings.
We encourage you to become a member of the WPHS Booster Club. The family membership dues are $35.00. Click here for a registration form.
